MURRAY CALLOWAY COUNTY HOSPITAL RECEIVES K-HEN RECOGNITION
Murray Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) was recently recognized by the Kentucky Hospital Engagement Network (K-HEN), a quality improvement program, for its progress toward established clinical benchmarks.
"MCCH appreciates K-HEN's recognition of its progress toward the designated clinical benchmarks. This achievement was made possible by the outstanding teamwork, dedication and commitment of MCCH's clinical, support and medical staff," said Mary Sue Hubbard, RN, CPHQ, Interim Director Quality Management/Risk Manager.
The Kentucky Hospital Engagement Network (K-HEN) was developed by the Kentucky Hospital Association in partnership with the Hospital Research and Education Trust (HRET) of the American Hospital Association in 2012. The goal of K-HEN is to engage Kentucky hospitals in quality improvement programs with the goal to reduce patient harm by 40% and readmissions by 20%.
KHA continues to support Kentucky's hospitals participating in K-HEN and other quality improvement programs providing the resources to meet any hospital's needs, no matter the specialty or size.
