Nicole Hudson, RN, is the Health Promotions Coordinator at the Center for Health and Wellness and has now been named the Calloway County Alliance for Substance Abuse (CCASAP) Director.

The Calloway County Alliance for Substance Abuse is a community coalition that was formed in 2001. This coalition is made up of many community organizations such as: Murray State University, Murray and Calloway County School Systems, City of Murray Officials, CASA by the Lakes, NAMI, Anthem Medicaid, Briggs and Stratton, Four Rivers Behavioral Health, Murray Women’s Clinic, United Way, Calloway County Health Department, Calloway County Courts, West Kentucky Mentoring and numerous community members.

Nicole was nominated by the members of the CCASAP and took the position in July of this year. She is representing Murray-Calloway County Hospital while serving as director.

“Growing up in Calloway County I have developed a love for this community through my positions at MCCH, I enjoy giving back to the community that has given me so much,” said Nicole Hudson, RN.

Nicole attended Calloway County High School and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Murray State University. She completed her practicum through MSU at MCCH in the progressive care unit. After graduation, Nicole, worked as a nurse in the progressive care unit at the hospital, she then moved to the health promotions department in April 2015 and took her current position as Health Promotions Coordinator in November of 2015.
