Spring Creek Music and Memory Program

The Spring Creek Healthcare Music & Memory program recently donated five Ipods and speakers for use of patients at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

This program works with dementia and Alzheimer patients by providing high quality, person-centered care through digital music technology. Employees identify those residents who could benefit from the program and work with them to provide iPods with personalized playlists tailored for each one.

The original Music and Memory program was funded by a gift from Dr. Dick Weaver in memory of his late wife Dr. Jan Weaver.
