NEW YEAR, NEW YOU - MCCH CENTER FOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS TO HOST FREE SMOKING CESSASTION SEMINAR

On Tuesday, December 5th, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., The Murray-Calloway County Hospital Center for Health and Wellness will host Plan to be Tobacco Free, a FREE educational seminar for those interested in overcoming tobacco use and dependence in 2018. The session will include a customized plan to quit, brought by the Kentucky Cancer Program.

This educational session is the kick-off seminar for the Freedom from Smoking program, offered by the Calloway County Health Department, beginning in January 2018. The Freedom from Smoking program is a FREE, 8 week class to help individuals gain control and stop smoking. The program will consist of 8 sessions and will be taught by an American Lung Association trained facilitator.

The Free from Smoking program will begin on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018, at the Center for Health and Wellness, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. There will be weekly giveaways for attendees and a completion giveaway, for those completing the 8 week class.
