Dr. Bill Giese, Murray-Calloway County Hospital Regional Cancer Center
Dr. Bill Giese, a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, is American born and trained. He has been permanently certified by the American Board of Radiology as a specialist in the use of radiation in cancer care. Over the last eighteen years, Dr. Giese has served as faculty at a number of prestigious universities, and therefore became skilled in the treatment of all cancer types. A referral from other physicians as well as walk-ins, are welcome.

Dr. Giese is available 24 hours a day and seven days weekly to address any questions or concerns his patients may have. Each patient receives Dr. Giese's home phone number upon the first clinic visit, in the event a concern or problem arises "after hours."

The teamwork between Dr. Ahmadi and Dr. Giese allows for quick and easy consultations between our physicians and offers you the obvious benefit of coming to a single, near-by location for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.

Our physicians are supported by an entire team of local cancer specialists who are sensitive to the serious, yet delicate nature of chemical and radiation treatments and the specific care requirements of patients who are fighting cancer.  it is our job to minimize the trauma of cancer and to see you through each step of treatment.

Dr. Loreta Garretson, Oncology and Hematology of MurrayLoreta Garretson, M.D., joined Murray-Calloway County Hospital in September of 2015 to provide Oncology and Hematology services for the area.  

Garretson completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at Kaunas University of Medicine in Kaunas, Lithuania in 2002, followed by a medical internship in Kelme, Lithuania in 2003.  She was an internal medicine resident at Seton Hall University's St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey from 2009 - 2012 before being named Chief Third Year Fellow in Hematology / Oncology in 2012. She also has worked as a hospitalist at Select Specialty Hospital in Rochelle Park, New Jersey.

She has presented several times on various cancer topics including risk factors, diagnosis and treatment and was chief investigator in a Seton Hall research study titled "Is There a link Between Anemia and Vitamin D Deficiency?"
