Jan and Kay Dalton of Marshall County recently made a generous donation to the Murray Calloway Endowment for Healthcare, to fund the lease for a truck to be used by the Muray-Calloway County Hospital Emergency Medical Services team.

The donation includes the funding for a three year lease of a truck to be used to transport emergency extraction tools, as well as a means of transportation for the Community Paramedic Program. This replaces the use of an older truck that was being used for the same services.

Emergency extraction equipment was obtained by a Kentucky Office of Homeland Security grant to the Murray-Calloway County EMS.

“The addition of this vehicle improves the abilities to care for and respond to our patient’s needs,” says Murray-Calloway County Hospital EMS Director, Marty Barnett.
