Dr. Rachel Korson

Meet Our Staff

Dr. Rachel Korson graduated with her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA, and completed her Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Stanford in Redwood City, CA. She finished her Neurology residency program at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, TN.  

Korson is also 
a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She has been recognized with several honorary recognitions and awards including Honorary Dean’s List, Senior Health Science Award of Excellence, and designated a “With Distinction” for academic excellence from the Loma Linda School of Medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Korson enjoys playing gardening, hiking and cooking. 

Margaret (Meg) Norsworthy, APRN, has worked in various roles in her nursing career but she started as a Surgical Tech. After nine years, she decided to go back to school at Murray State University where she received her Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing in 2009. She then worked as a nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry Department for almost two years and then returned back to the Surgery Department where she worked as a Circulator for 5 more years.

Norsworthy completed her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (APRN) from Walden University in 2015. As a part of her training she completed various rotations in different areas including family practice, pediatrics, women’s health, cardiology, and cardio thoracic surgery. In her most current role, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Chris King, Neurologist, for 21 months until he relocated to practice in another state.

Originally from Famington, KY, Norsworthy lives in Murray with her husband Chris and their five children. When she’s not working, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family, singing, crafting, and going to church.
