Murray-Calloway County Hospital has one of only two hospital-based blood banks in the state of Kentucky, which means the blood you donate here, stays here.

In the United States, someone needs a blood transfusion every two seconds. By donating blood with a donor group or an individual donation, you can help children, adults, and possibly even a family member, co-worker or friend.

Blood Drive Events

Giving blood is safe, easy, and fast (and it saves lives!). The entire process takes less than one hour. People under the age of 18 are also able to donate blood. Download the consent form below and earn your Red Cord as a High School graduate.
