CLASS GUIDELINES

  • Children are not allowed in the gym during adult classes.
  • Participants may enter the gym and set up class equipment no earlier than 15 minutes prior to class time.
  • Class schedules are subject to change every 4-8 weeks.
  • Please adhere to our age boundaries for the class.

 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

People lifting weightsBody Pump
The original barbell class. Designed for all ages and fitness levels, this athletic-based workout uses barbells with adjustable weights to work every major muscle group in your body. Ages 16 years & up.  Instructors: Amy & Patrick

Boot Camp Class
Boot camp incorporates cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and stretching. Our goal is to offer a customized workout plan specifically for you and to encourage you along the way. Boot camp is suitable for all levels of fitness from beginners to advance. This class meets twice a week for six weeks and is FREE for members and $60 for non-members. Limited spots available.

Cardio Kickboxing
Join Gerald McCuiston for an intense workout that includes punches, kicks and drills. It’s sure to make you sweat! If you are looking for that extra cardiovascular challenge!  Instructors: Gerald 

Core Essentials
This fast paced class is for those looking to tone up their mid-section as well as improve overall fitness. The main focus of Core Essentials will be shredding fat and sculpting the abdominals.  Instructor: Chris Ward.

Senior Citizen Group Fitness ClassFit For Life (this class is currently taking a break and not offered at this time)
An invigorating environment that lets you socialize while toning and stretching your body. This class provides a great workout for individuals recovering from surgery, managing arthritis, and/or with limited mobility.

Karate 
This Okinawa Karate based class is a fitness class for the entire family that can improve your performance of other activities, while learning real-world, self-defense skills.  Instructor:  Greg

Simply Yoga
Designed for the person new to yoga, Simply Yoga is a gentle vinyasa flow that teaches basic yoga poses with proper alignment, breathing and transitions from one pose to the next.  Instructor: Renee

Spin 
Come spin and benefit from a group atmosphere with up-tempo music and coaching. Prepare for fast intervals mixed in with slow, endurance training that is low impact on your joints. Instructor: Bill

Strong by Zumba
STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that will help you burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes.  Instructor: Ashley

Traditional Yoga
This yoga class uses traditional postures that involve stretching, bending and breathing to relax tense and contracted muscles, while helping you to feel younger and mentally fresh.  Instructors:  Raylene 

Zumba
Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away! Zumba is an exhilarating one-hour dance party! Ages 12 years & up.  Instructors: Ashley, Sheena

Rock Steady Boxing
This exercise class will focus on strength, reaction time, balance, and overall quality of life for people with Parkinson’s. Requires pre-registration.  Instructor: Samantha Burnett
