MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital recently named Lena Bohannon, CST, as the 2023 Employee of the Year. This award is nominated by employees throughout the organization, then each nomination is reviewed and final selection is made by the Executive Team.

Bohannon was recognized by multiple members of the OR staff with the following recognition submission: “The OR staff was tasked with a procedure that none of us have ever experienced. The staff rallied together during this time and Lena was tasked with being a tech to not one, but three surgeons that we had never had the privilege to work with before. When watching the teams work, you would have thought Lean was a part of their team. She passed the case with so much grace and was beyond professional. Lena credits the whole team that rallied behind her but we want her to know just how amazed we all are of her,” OR Staff.
