MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital’s (MCCH’s) Bariatric Solutions has been reaccredited by the American College of Surgeons Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), demonstrating a commitment to ensuring the safe and effective performance of metabolic and bariatric surgery. As an MBSAQIP-accredited program and ACS Surgical Quality Partner, MCCH’s Bariatric Solutions demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous improvement and provides patients with care that meets the most rigorous standards in surgical quality. Led by Dr. Brian Swain, MCCH’s Bariatric Solutions offers advanced weight loss surgeries, comprehensive education, and long-term follow-up care to support eligible patients on a successful, lifelong journey to improved health. For over 17 years MCCH has offered bariatric surgery options to our patients. Dr. Brian Swain has been the sole surgeon at our facility providing metabolic and bariatric surgeries and has performed over 1,400 stapling procedures and 260 non-stapling procedures. Anyone (over the age of 18) can call Bariatric Solutions, to be screened to determine if they are a candidate for bariatric (weight loss) surgery.
