MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) is pleased to recognize Mary Bachusz, RN, of the Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) as the July Employee of the Month.

 

Bachusz has been a valued member of the MCCH team for more than eight years and was nominated by her coworkers for her dedication to patient care, willingness to help others, and consistently positive attitude. Coworkers describe Bachusz as dependable, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand. Whether assisting a fellow team member, working extra hours, or taking time to listen to a patient, she is known for going above and beyond to support those around her.

 

One nomination praised Bachusz for treating every patient with dignity and respect while creating a positive environment for both patients and coworkers. Her colleagues noted that she takes the time to get to know her patients, helping them smile and feel seen and cared for during their rehabilitation journey.

 

Bachusz was also recognized for the extra effort she put forth during MCCH’s transition to the Cerner electronic health record system. To help her Inpatient Rehab coworkers adjust to the new system, she created additional instructions and organized resources for both nurses and aides, making the transition easier for the entire team.

 

“Mary goes above and beyond for her department and coworkers,” one nominator shared. “She always comes in smiling and cheerful, making the day better.”

 

MCCH congratulates Mary Bachusz on being named the July Employee of the Month and is thankful for her years of dedicated service to the hospital, her coworkers, and the patients entrusted to her care.
