MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) honors the retirement of Debbie Warner, LPN, after a 36-year career in nursing – including nearly 11 years at Murray Medical Associates.

Debbie began her journey in healthcare at Murray Pediatrics, where she built a strong foundation in patient care. She later continued her first nursing career here before stepping into PCU to begin her second chapter. During one of the most challenging times in healthcare, Debbie was instrumental in helping lead efforts at the drive-through COVID clinic – serving our community with resilience, compassion, and unwavering commitment.

Outside of her work at the hospital, Debbie has touched lives in a unique and heartfelt way. She creates “memory bears” for members of her community, taking clothing from loved ones who have passed and transforming them into cherished keepsakes that families can hold onto for years to come. This special gift reflects the same compassion and care she has shown throughout her nursing career.

Reflecting on her journey, Debbie shared, “I’ve been very, very blessed. I look forward to fishing, being on the lake, going to concerts, and spending time with my husband, Greg.” She leaves us with heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Dr. Ford, you’ve gotten me through a lot – thank you!”

Debbie’s legacy of compassion and service will not be forgotten. MCCH wishes Debbie all the best in this well-earned next chapter!
