MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital recently named Elle Hendrix, Wellness Coordinator at the Center for Health and Wellness, as the December 2023 Employee of the Month.

Hendrix was recognized by multiple members of the Wellness Center staff with the following recognition submissions: “Elle goes above and beyond here at the Wellness Center! Her energy and enthusiasm at work does not go unnoticed! She is a hard worker and does everything she can to make sure the CHW has the most positivity. She is always organizing events and team bonding activities for the staff. Elle does her absolute best at serving the members and community with health screenings. Although I’ve been here for only a short period of time she has never stopped making me feel warm and welcomed here! She is very deserving of this nomination and I feel strongly on her consideration.”

“Elle is always one to go above and beyond with her job. She is constantly bringing food in for other employees, showing how kind and caring she is. While also filling in for roles that her job title doesn’t even ask for, while doing it with absolutely no complaints at all. Nominating her for employee of the month is an absolute no brainer and I would literally recommend anyone to come observe her just to see how amazing she is as a person and employee.”

“Elle always brings a bright, shining attitude to work every day. She lights up every room she walks into. She goes above and beyond her job to make sure community members and fellow employees feel seen, included, and appreciated. She coordinates creative ways to celebrate and recognize her coworkers’ birthdays and organizes events and fun activities to boost morale.

She volunteers to help out other members of the team and wherever she can. She does all this on top of her work that requires her to hustle to and from various places in the community for health screenings and health fairs. She is truly a valuable member of our organization and to the whole community and I am honored to nominate her for her Excellence in Service.”
