MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital recently held a retirement tea honoring Kathy Howard, LPN, Infection Control/PI Assistant. Kathy was a loyal employee devoting 44 years of her nursing career at MCCH. She worked in different areas throughout the hospital over the years.

“I appreciate everybody here – this place is home,” she said.

Kathy said it would be bittersweet to leave; however, she is looking forward to simple things like having time to relax and just drink her coffee in the mornings. She also plans to spend time with family and friends and her first trip is planned to Savannah, Georgia to see her son and his family.
