The Clinical Laboratory at Murray-Calloway County Hospital continues to offer state-of-the-art services to our patients. We can do more tests with less blood in a shorter time than ever before. This gives our physicians the timeliest information to aid them in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.

The Laboratory consists of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Pathology Departments all staffed with dedicated employees utilizing the most up-to-date instrumentation available to provide the most accurate and timely results.  You may contact the Clinical Laboratory at 270.762.1912.

OUTPATIENT LAB

Conveniently located on the first floor of the Medical Arts Building, our Outpatient Laboratory provides a wide range of diagnostic tests. Murray-Calloway County Hospital’s highly experienced laboratory staff utilizes the latest medical technology to provide timely and trustworthy medical testing. Patients register in a private office and then are called back from the waiting area by lab staff for tests.

Outpatient Lab is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Outside of those hours we serve outpatients in the main Lab in the North Tower of the hospital located on the first floor, and it is staffed 24/7.

The Outpatient Lab is newly renovated with an experienced staff to serve our patients accurately and quickly. Results are automatically sent to the ordering physician immediately after completion via a computer fax program.
