MURRAY, KY – Each year, healthcare organizations across the country pause to recognize the extraordinary contributions of nurses during National Nurses Week. While one week can never fully capture the impact nurses make every day, Murray-Calloway County Hospital was proud to celebrate and honor its dedicated nursing staff during National Nurses Week.

Nurses play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families. Their commitment, expertise, and resilience are at the heart of everything MCCH stands for.

Throughout the week, the hospital hosted a variety of events to show appreciation for its nursing team. Activities included a special luncheon, chair massages, cupcakes, ice cream treats, a scrub sale, and gifts of appreciation – just a few small ways to recognize the compassionate care and dedicated service MCCH nurses provide every single day.

MCCH encourages the community to take time this week to thank nurses for their invaluable service and celebrate the difference they make in the lives of so many.
