Murray-Calloway County Hospital Hosts Murray State Men’s Basketball Team for Sleep & Performance Presentation

MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital recently welcomed the Murray State Racer Basketball team for a special educational presentation highlighting the important connection between quality sleep and athletic performance.
MCCH CEO Reba Celsor welcomed the team before neurologist and sleep medicine specialist Dr. Korson shared insights on how healthy sleep habits can improve focus, recovery, reaction time, and overall performance both on and off the court. The presentation emphasized the vital role sleep plays in physical and mental wellness, reinforcing its importance as a key component of an athlete’s training and recovery.
Murray-Calloway County Hospital was honored to host the Racers and provide education that can benefit the team throughout the season and beyond. MCCH appreciates the Murray State men’s basketball team for investing in their health and wishes the Racers a healthy and successful season.
