MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) is proud to recognize Amy Ferguson, RD, as its June Employee of the Month in recognition of her outstanding commitment to patient care, employee wellness, and serving others.

 

Amy serves as the Outpatient and Acute Care Dietitian, where she is passionate about helping patients improve their health through proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices. Colleagues say her dedication extends far beyond her clinical responsibilities, making a positive impact on patients, coworkers, and the community each day.

 

According to those who nominated her, Amy is always willing to lend a helping hand, regardless of the department or project. She is a strong advocate for both employees and the community, regularly volunteering to support Wellness Works initiatives, hospital events, and community programs.

 

“Amy truly lives out what we promote,” one coworker shared. “She works out regularly at the Center for Health and Wellness, connects with members in a genuine way, and is always willing to encourage others to live healthier lives.”

 

Amy has also served as the instructor for the Center for Health & Wellness 6 a.m. BodyPump class for more than 20 years, inspiring countless participants through her dedication, encouragement, and passion for fitness. Coworkers describe Amy as someone with an open door, a servant’s heart, and a positive attitude who consistently makes a difference in the lives of those around her.

 

“Amy is one of those coworkers who consistently goes above and beyond,” another nomination read. “She brings positivity to everything she does, supports her teammates without hesitation, and truly deserves this recognition.”
