MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) was proud to host the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce 2025 LIFT (Leadership Initiative for Teachers) class for an inside look at hospital operations.

Teachers from the Calloway County School System and Murray Independent School System spent the morning exploring several departments within the hospital. The visit provided valuable insight into the many healthcare career pathways available at MCCH and throughout the medical field.

The LIFT class began their tour with a welcome from John Wilson, Chief Operations Officer, and Kimberly Lindsey, Director of Human Resources at MCCH. Melony Bray, Director of Planning & Marketing at MCCH, facilitated the visit, providing an overview of the hospital’s history and leading the group on a guided tour through key departments.

Through the LIFT program, educators gain firsthand knowledge of local industries and professions, helping them better guide students in making informed career and higher education choices. By connecting classroom learning to real-world opportunities, the program fosters stronger partnerships between schools and the business community.
