MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital recently honored Human Resources Director Kim Lindsey as she begins a well-earned retirement. Kim concludes a distinguished healthcare career that spans 39 years, including nine years of service at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. Throughout her time at MCCH, she has been a trusted leader and dedicated advocate for employees across the organization.

 

As Human Resources Director, Kim supported MCCH through times of growth, transition, and change, including the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her steady leadership and commitment to employees helped guide the organization through difficult circumstances while supporting the hospital’s mission of providing quality care to the community.

 

Reflecting on her time at MCCH, Kim shared, “It has been such a joy to be part of the MCCH family.” During her retirement celebration, coworkers shared memories, laughter, and stories from their years working alongside Kim, celebrating her journey in healthcare. Looking ahead to retirement, Kim is excited to spend more time at home with her husband, Charley, enjoy the opportunity to rest and not set her alarm clock, spend time with her children, and travel to St. Louis to visit her daughter.

 

Murray-Calloway County Hospital extends its sincere appreciation to Kim for her many years of service to healthcare and for the positive impact she has made throughout her career. While she will be greatly missed, Kim leaves behind a trusted team of Human Resources professionals who will continue to support employees and guide the department following her retirement.
