Murray-Calloway County Hospital Names Sarah Lindley, CRT, as May Employee of the Month

MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital is proud to recognize Sarah Lindley, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), as the May Employee of the Month.

Sarah has been a dedicated member of the MCCH team for 17 years and is known for her exceptional commitment to patient care, teamwork, and service to others. Nominated by her peers, Sarah was recognized for consistently going above and beyond to support both patients and coworkers while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Colleagues describe Sarah as dependable, compassionate, and always willing to help wherever needed. Whether picking up extra shifts, adjusting her schedule at the last minute, assisting with patient transfers, or helping solve difficult situations, she continually demonstrates a selfless commitment to her department and the patients she serves.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Sarah played an important role in supporting the implementation of Cerner within the Respiratory Therapy Department, assisting department leadership and staff throughout the transition. Her initiative, adaptability, and willingness to take on additional responsibilities have helped improve workflow and strengthen departmental operations.

“Sarah consistently demonstrates the values that define exceptional healthcare,” one nominator wrote. “She is always willing to step up when the department is in need and does so with a positive attitude. Her dedication to both her patients and coworkers makes a lasting impact every day.”

Another coworker noted, “Sarah provides exceptional care to her patients and treats everyone with compassion, professionalism, and respect. She is approachable, easy to work with, and a true team player. Her commitment and positive influence make her a valuable asset to our department.”

Known for putting the needs of others before her own, Sarah is often the last to take a break or eat a meal, ensuring patient care and departmental responsibilities are handled first. MCCH congratulates Sarah on this well-deserved recognition and thanks her for her 17 years of dedicated service to our patients, staff, and community.
