MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) proudly joins the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) in celebrating National Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Week, recognized this year from January 18-24, 2026. This annual observance highlights the essential role CRNAs play in delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care to patients across our community.
CRNAs are advanced practice registered nurses who are the primary providers of anesthesia in many settings, including hospital operating and delivery rooms, ambulatory surgical centers, and pain management centers. At MCCH, our dedicated team of CRNAs, the Murray Anesthetists Group (MAG), works tirelessly to ensure patient safety and comfort during some of their most vulnerable moments.
“For 15 years Murray Anesthetists Group has been proud to provide anesthesia service at MCCH. A team of 11 providers that deliver expert anesthesia care across the hospital including vascular, orthopedic, ear nose and throat, general surgery, obstetrics, bariatrics, urology, cardiac, endoscopy, and labor and delivery. Our team offers multiple anesthetic options to meet your personal needs. They are committed to comfort, safety, and precision at every point of care.” Jenny Green, CRNA at MAG.
Across the United States, CRNAs safely administer more than 58 million anesthetics each year. At MCCH, our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) deliver a comprehensive array of services including advanced pain block techniques designed to enhance postoperative recovery. Our CRNAs assist with your care from the moment you arrive until you are discharged from our surgical suite. Available 24/7, they respond to emergencies and ensure continuous support for our labor and delivery department. The Murray Anesthetists Group continually looks at ways to advance anesthetic options to ensure patients are offered the newest and best anesthetic options in the area.
With deep local roots and a strong connection to our community, Murray Anesthetists Group is honored to care for our neighbors every day. Join us in celebrating our exceptional CRNAs this week for their innovative leadership and outstanding patient-centered care.
